MCSO Advisory Council at a Glance

The roots of the Maricopa County Sheriff’s Office (MCSO) Advisory Council date back more than 25 years, originating with a group of community leaders who wanted to create a source of immediate financial support for the families of fallen officers. The group evolved into the MCSO Advisory Posse, and the MCSO Memorial Fund was created to provide financial support for the families of fallen law enforcement officers. Initially, the MCSO Advisory Posse’s mission was to provide manpower and fundraising for the MCSO Memorial Fund, and in recent years the organization has evolved into the MCSO Advisory Council.

The MCSO Advisory Council continues their mission to support and grow the MCSO Memorial Fund and has expanded its efforts to include fundraising for:
  • MCSO K9 Unit

  • Holiday Toy Drives

  • Other special projects coordinated through the MCSO Sheriff’s Office.
